Movie, Birds, Ponds and Lost on The Khlog

We decided to go and see a movie, but really I think it was because we felt like having some great popcorn. I still find it interesting that the malls have market stalls in them

Popcorn purchased, cushy red seat in the hallway and ready to go!

Baked goods with a twist...hot dogs, shredded chicken and other meats find themselves enveloped by sweet dough.

Shredded something or other.

These birds were being aired out beside the khlong which is a common occurrence.  On Sundays they have singing competitions which we have not yet figured out but there seems to be a solid scoring system.

Closer look

Visiting our friend, Fiona with her little dollhouse-like gazebo and  koi pond.

There is a new market in town that opens once a week....and sometimes it's just a Stephen King type bouncy house in the middle of a rocky field.

Construction of roads is ongoing....with the new roads being much nigher than the old.

I went out on an early Sunday morning for a ride on the khlong which is a place I love to go...always exploring new roads and pathways. This is the view behind me.

...and in front of me. It just ends high up in the air. Another project abandoned.

This was interesting....slabs of cement in various fields.

I have been reading about the communities trying to promote the use of bicycles and these have been popping up.

You can find beauty anywhere.

Made it to the train station!

A few pictures along the way.

Fishing platform.

We see so many walls and fences blocking off communities.

Cute little raft.

This it still my favourite garden.

And the gardener's cows.

Our usual entrance.
