Ramkamhaeng Runners

The first season of our little running group called The Ramkamhaeng Runners grew a little in size but a lot in camaraderie and friendship. We already have 2 races planned in Sept/Dec and hope to have grown by then. We realized after that we were in height order.

We had our t-shirts printed. Klong is a canal which we spend a lot of our time running beside.

An early morning sunrise.

Watch out world. No worries, I ride as safe as can be.

He's the one you need to worry about.

Homeward bound...almost

I think we are going to be running around until the last minute so I am really happy that our flight is only at 1pm on Saturday. The last few days at RIS is a scavenger hunt to get signatures from various people to ensure all books/materials etc. are returned. It's also a time of lasts for those who are leaving for good.

There are three of us who are regulars at the pool so got a shot of us today.

My phone now looks like this. It serves two purposes
1) I don't wake people up in the middle of the night when I call
2) Reminds me how ridiculously hot it really is here.

Out on a run: Turkeys, Gardens and Gheko

Nothing riveting....just a few regulars on my run.
I have a 5 km loop that I run regularly and you get fairly used to the scenery. These turkeys (or whatever) we little chicks not too long ago and cute to see each day. There are usually 5-6 but they were camera shy.

In the middle of Perfect Place, on an empty lot springs a garden.

Same garden, different angle. It's really well put together.

They have been building this since we got here but I took this to show how the workers often set up a house where they work. The tin siding is the house.

Every night this little gecko hangs out on our window. We have a house gecko which we see sometimes (but always hear) but this little guy seems to feel safe where he is. I guess something got his tails recently.
