Construction and the Ramkhamhaeng Runners

New school year, new theme and somehow I end up as a Black Widow superheros!

When we left in June the streets were being torn up and raised with new drainage pipes being put in. Well, still the same and we feel like we are actually doing a fair bit of dirt biking on what used to be paved roads. With time they will finish.

Ready to go! Look at how high the manhole is compared to the existing road.

You need to go where?

One of the other roads is almost finished but I rode by as they were filling cracks with tar. This is how they heat the tar. Wheelbarrow, fire and tin.

Our trusty wok which I have discovered that I can cook everything in.

When peppers come this many in a bag you wonder how much spice the Thais really do eat. These are called "thai chocolates"

So, with the construction, the local rooster fighting circuit had to move and is now directly at the entrance of the khlong. We certainly get stares as our little running group comes around the corner. No razor blades.

Our little running group is trying to grow and we have 20-25 people heading to Ankor Wat in Cambodia in December which is fantastic.

Two of the originals Darcy and myself. She's actually from Stowe and we ran the Stowe 8 Miler this summer which was kinda cool.

Then we were four.

....and a bumper crop of 7
